The number I call wants to give me a gift card for $1.00 with my credit card and I dont need that I need the release for my 1995 Lincoln You are the lein holder and this has been paid off. Please help

Found car title
I finally found my title. Arcadia Financial sold some of their accounts to CITIAUTO.
It took me 6 months to research this mess. Citiauto does not have a phone number. I had to contact via email. Here's their info.

It took a while but finally received my answers. Turns out my car didn't even need a Lien Release anyway.

How do I get title released?

We lost our car title. Arcadia financial Ltd is the who we paid off in 1998.
To get another copy of our car title, we need leader head from the company stating that the auto was paid off. Release of lien,or thar person business card or employee ID.
Because at the Texas Department of Motor vehicle they told us that Arcadia Financial is still showing on thier record as the lien holder. In order to get another title, we need another paper showing no lien.

I had my vehicle loan through Arcadia Financial years ago, and once it was paid in full, was never sent the title. I am in a situation where I am trying to remove the piece of metal off of my driveway, and can't even give it away to a scrap metal company without the title.
The DMV can't provide the title. I have gone online to numerous websites and found that Arcadia Financial has changed hands several times over the past few years to various banks.
Outside of hiring an attorney to track it down, which would cost more than the car is worth, how can I lay my hands on my title?! Please HELP!!

I too am from Michigan not far from you. We got a car through Arcadia as well.
Because Michigan is not a title holding state, I was sent my title but Arcadia was listed as lien holder. We paid off the car never gave it a second thought. Sold the car and the new owner cannot get the title in their name without our lien release. I do not know what more I can do to help them.
As far as I knew at time if sale, my car was paid off probably 15 years ago! Now I cannot find this company and where I have been able to research to, doesn’t have anyone answering a phone. You have to email them which I did and received no response. The new owners only have 30 days to get the title put in their name or they get penalized.
I am trying my best to help them but I do not know where else to turn? Did you ever get a response??

My insurance Co paid off balance for clear title. The car was totaled.
To this day I'm getting collection agencies calling me saying that I owe money on old loan.
Some one can't add. Check from my insurance agent said payoff for clear title.

I had account with arcadia i bought a truck in 1998 they willnot release my title they said i still owe 10,00 dollars for a 12.00 dollar title i guess they sold out to another company call santander in texas
